There is something really amazing about the design of Blizzard Entertainment's troll race. I've been a fan of their Warcraft series since I was in elementary school and I've always had an appreciation for them, despite their appearance as apparent jokes of nature. I was a typical girl and more of a fan of the stuck-up high elves at the time, but it was only a matter of growing up before I realized that trolls really were superior. I even like them better than the orcs who like to steal the spotlight so often.

I really do believe that they are the most perfect example of creatures that have become so downright ugly that they arrive right back at being attractive again.
